Visit 139 was very productive and very satisfying. I managed to install the oar clips, rebuilt and reinforced the transom, added a few heavy metal stickers and installed some foam decking on the seat. I didn’t get around to installing the little 5 switch gang panel, the transom too fucking ages. That’ll be on the agenda for the next visit.
Whilst at the boat I took delivery of some rubber trim, the type you put on car doors. It’s red, and that’s getting installed next time around too. It’ll be going around the boat, along the rim, inside and out.
I have also applied for a boat index number and The Little Turd is also now insured. I’m just waiting on my Canal and Rivers Trust licence and it’ll be legal. For now. Once the battery goes in, I will need a BSS certificate.
