Following on from my complete failure to install the Yale lock earlier in the week, I went out and spunked more money on two new locks. After a lot of faffing around I finally managed to fit the locks to the door.
Whilst out shopping for the locks I also purchased some expanding foam with the express aim of filling the gaps between the window frames in the cockpit. It was an unmitigated clusterfuck. It was the first time I’d ever used expanding foam and it will without doubt be the last time I ever use it. It’s just like stick squirty cream, a bit like cum in an aerosol. Never again.
I threw some more paint around and filled some holes and cracks in the hatch.
