It has been a constant source of frustation having to empty water out of the boat. I’ve pretty much been doing it from day dot. There were various sources of water, one of which was water leaking under the door and into the cabin. The plan was to build a new, higher threshold, mainly to stop the water from seeping in, but also to provide a platform/base for the drawer slider mechanisms. As demonstrated in the last post. Threshold built with wood and fibreglass. Workmanship sub par, but it did the trick. Again, not a permanent solution, but it was one less source of water coming into the boat. In order to fit the threshold I had to shorten the length of the door. That didn’t go as well as expected, but I managed to leave the boat knowing it was secure, of sorts.
