Inbetween all the work that was going on, on the boat in April I ordered some faux leather and foam. The idea was to use these items as trim for the cockpit. After a helping hand from Booger, we managed to cover the dashboard cover, get it down to the boat and installed. The colour of the faux leather is classified as chacoal grey (if I remember correctly), I thought it would look good against a white background. That’s changed somewhat, but you will see what I mean in a much later post. We also covered side lockers and built some trim strips, but you’ll see those when they’re ready to go up.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I also took delivery of some extra large drawer sliders, why the fuck would we need drawer sliders on a boat? Because on this boat they were going to be door sliders.  Booger demonstrates below:
