Last year, when stripping the boat I disconnected the pipe that ran from the cockpit drain, under the floor and then out of the hull. As a result, every time it rained, the inside of the boat would flood. Every visit to the boat started with bailing water out. I eventually reconnected the pipe (not very well mind you), and this massively reduced the volume of water entering the boat. Go me!
