There never was a part 2 of Safe Harbour was there? To be entirely honest there wasn’t much left of the boat really. To say it was ravaged by COVID me would be an understatement. It’s now 5 years after I last wrote anything about the boat. Sadly it was actually a partial victim of lockdown, it was nigh on impossible to get down to Essex where the boat was based and it was sadly neglected and then eventually scrapped.
That said I still have a lot of crap I took off the boat in the garage. Some bits have found their ways to other parts of the world. The anchor for instance is now a garden ornament in Yorkshire. The compass was given as a gift to someone to always show them the right direction totake in life. Fuck me, how cheesy is that shit?
In the 5 years since I’ve still had a casual interest in boats. Just pipe-dreaming whilst searching eBay for the next victim.
