Do you remember those god-awful hull bumpers that made the boat look like a floating zebra carcass? Do you remember how long it took me to uninstall the fucking things? Once I’d uninstalled them I temporarily disposed of them but lobbing them on the ever increasing pile of crap near the boat. Well, I had to delve into said heap of shit to retrieve a couple of them. I decided they would make good inner core for new stringers in the engine bay.
I also set about tidying up the dasboard cut out, a more regular shape is easier to deal with that some dildo looking thing.
After glassing in the bench previously I built a frame around the actual engine bay and glassed that in. I’m pretty impressed with my ingenuity and my “actual” fibreglassing skills so far. Lot of room for improvement though!
